Back in the Day

Christiana and Aimee met on the first day of third grade at Pinon Elementary School in White Rock, NM. In each other, they quickly found a girl’s best friend. No one was a better stylist than Christiana, with her couture taste in culottes and Osh Kosh B’Gosh overalls. And no one more inventive than Aimee, when choreographing their stirring dance number, Hello Mr. Watson, for their school’s spring musical.

Aimee and Christiana pulled each other through braces, bad hair and break ups. Dates came and went. Perms were in, then out. But their friendship prevailed, never out of style. Together, they laughed when it may have been easier to cry, and learned what it meant to be an unconditional friend.

New York. Aspen. Chicago. San Francisco. Minneapolis. Despite different time zones, Christiana and Aimee have always stayed close. Then they realized something: they are happiest when they are each other’s bosses, working together on something meaningful. So, tapping into Christiana’s eye for style and Aimee’s creativity in capturing life as art, they’ve made many discoveries that make living in the present a little sweeter.
