Working in a studio amidst the San Francisco fog, Casey makes art that is emotionally evocative. In the pieces she has created exclusively for Hygge & West, she has captured what hygge means to her. Her plate series, When East Meets West, tells a story of discovering love in the smallest moments. With knots of wood etched on them, the plates are a reminder that love has no set pattern yet lasts forever. Casey has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Melbourne, and most recently in Cote Des Basques, France. Casey's 'painted room' at the acclaimed Hotel Des Arts in San Francisco was featured in the New York Times. She lives in San Francisco with her boyfriend and a very big dog.
